After 49 years of being in the called ministries of the Church and of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I have come to realize the lack of fellowship, friendship and communication between the Ministers of the Gospel. There have been harsh National and International divisions, both individually as well as by denomination and corporately in or by the local churches, even among board members of the same church. Time has come for International and National fellowship enrichment! It is to this end that a large portion of this web site is dedicated. Times have changed greatly since the beginning of the Church more than 2000 years ago. Then ministries were somewhat localized to distances traveled by foot or horse or on occasion by wind powered ships of the sea or man powered by galley slaves to more distant lands. Communication was by word of mouth, or parchment letter or sheep skin scrolls. The world was a very large place! Traveling ministers often stayed in a location for several days or even several years and patiently allowed the people to come and hear the Gospel! My, my, my how dusty or thirsty it may have been at times as they endured the hardships as a good soldier.... not to mention the beatings, wild animals, hunger, jails and storms that they went through. Often they had no homes and families. were left behind. Now in these present times, it is as if the world has grown smaller. There are still many peoples living in that "larger world" of undeveloped countries as mentioned above. But, in the so called developed and civilized nations, this present world seems to have quite different concepts of distances... and the distance spiritually between those named in the Faith of our Lord Jesus! There are the four wheeled Chariolacs, guilded Grumboeing-buses with wings of silver, voices that reach from one side of the world and back, keys that flash images in our face and send moon beams from space to guide our path. Our bodies travel at Mach .8 with no effort while we sleep, our voices boom across the heavens, seas and earth to bring us news, good news and entertain us while we chew a hotly vibrated meal and strew the landscape with the remains we have refused, spoiled or discarded. Many fish we see are on bumpers we follow while we make haste on the freeway, cruise abroad in great white hulks, slide along on water or snow or make our comfort in the bowels of a great smoking aluminum noisy bird of the sky that drinks thousands of gallons of petrol while flying 40,000 feet above Earth. It happens fast!
Can we keep up with
this "Progress"? It is time for some changes in these times because we are
living in the Last Times!
The Express Purpose of this
new website is to stimulate change and enrichment within the Church and
in
this rapidly changing world for a much more
vibrantly active and motivated Body of Believers in our Lord Jesus Christ!
We as believers need to
recover those things of the New Testament Church that have been lost through the
years and let us even advance into doing those Greater Works that Jesus said we
as believers would do in these Last Days! works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:12-14
All the authority we need is expressly given to us in these words of Jesus!
Keep in mind the things I have said above at the beginning of the page. Herewith, in this Web Site, I plead with you about just four causes that we can all give our rapt attention to that will bring great change to our Christian vitality. This renewed vitality we well call, "Restoration of the Body of Christ, The Church!" Let it happen, Lord! Would you prayerfully join us now in active participation for these four causes? (1) Fellowship (2) Friendship (3) Communication (4) Ministry We are not asking you to join as a financial support group such as many call partnerships to bring in dollars to themselves. As you grow with us as an Associate, I am confident that you will find that our interests are purely for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to be preached to all who may receive it and to minister to all those who would desire to partake of the benefits of The New Covenant, the Promises of God the Father through the Power of the Resurrection of Christ who now lives in us as the Hope of Glory.
